November’s almost here! As the weather gets chilly or even downright cold, and the trees give up their autumn splendor, the days become short and grey. The winter blues settle in and the busyness of the holiday season threatens to steal our joy.
But what if we don’t have to settle for that? What if we instead choose to notice the goodness in our everyday lives?
This month, the Middle Places Instagram Photo Challenge is a remake of our VERY FIRST photo challenge, which was probably our most popular! And it’s not just a photo challenge. It’s a gratitude challenge.
Every day is a chance for you to document the things you’re thankful for. Some would choose to say they’re blessed. That’s a word I’ve learned to be careful with. But, I will say, I’ve been given abundantly more than I need. And I am grateful to my God who provides so extravagantly.
So take out your phone. Save this graphic as your screen saver or lock screen and join us as we document our gratitude throughout the month of November.
Recount the ways that your needs are provided.
To join the photo challenge, just check the day’s prompt and snap a picture to correspond with it. Then tell us why you’re grateful or thankful for that thing/person/activity/thought. Add the hashtags #middleplaces & #gratefulinthemiddleplaces and post your photos to share with others!Dare to notice the goodness of your everyday life. And then document it!Click To Tweet
If you haven’t joined the Middle Places community yet, be sure to check it out! We’ll have a thread there each day in November where you can share those photos with us!
